Interval Walk collects nothing.
This is the privacy policy for the Interval Walk iPhone app. It is separate from the woodfiredigital.com website privacy notice, which covers this website.
The short version
We do not collect your data. Interval Walk has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no server. Everything the app knows about you lives on your phone, and it stays there.
Interval Walk is made by Woodfire Digital LLC, PO Box 20, Lithopolis, Ohio 43136.
What the app stores on your device
The app keeps your settings (chosen program, weekly goal, coach voice, cue preferences) and your walk history (date, duration, sets completed, and, when available, steps and distance) in local storage on your iPhone. The app never sends this information anywhere, though like any app's local data it can be included in device backups you control. Deleting the app deletes everything the app itself stores.
Motion and fitness data
If you allow Motion and Fitness access, the app reads step counts and distance from your iPhone's built-in pedometer while a walk is in progress, so your walk screen and summaries show real numbers. This data is processed and stored on your device only. If you decline, the app still works; it just shows your walks without step and distance figures.
Apple Health
If you turn on "Sync with Apple Health" in Settings and grant permission, the app saves each completed walk to Apple Health as a workout. The app writes workouts; it does not read anything from Apple Health. Data you store in Apple Health is governed by Apple's terms and your device settings, and we never receive it. Workouts already saved to Health remain there after you delete the app; you can remove them in the Health app.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules them locally on your device to cue pace changes during a walk. No notification involves a server, because there isn't one.
Purchases
Interval Walk is a paid app sold through the Apple App Store. Apple processes the payment. We never see your name, address, or payment details from a purchase.
Children
Interval Walk is a general-audience fitness app. It collects no data from anyone, children included.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes how data is handled, we will update this policy, change the date at the top, and note it in the app's release notes. The current version is always available inside the app under Settings and on this page.
