Walk hard. Walk easy. Repeat.
A pocket coach for interval walking that paces you through brisk and easy intervals, tracks your week, and keeps everything private on your phone.
What it does
Interval Walk coaches you through interval walking: short bursts of brisk pace with easy recovery in between. Pick a program, press start, and Pip, your walking coach, tells you when to push and when to ease off, so you can pocket your phone and just walk.
Alternate a few minutes of brisk walking with a few minutes of easy recovery, repeat it a handful of times, and you build fitness faster than you would strolling at one steady pace. Pace cues reach you even with the phone locked or tucked in a pocket, so you can keep your eyes up and just walk.
When you finish, the walk lands in your history with your time, sets completed, and, if you allow motion access, your steps and distance. Your weekly goal is counted in walks rather than minutes, because "four walks this week" is easier to picture than a minute total. A streak and a simple chart show how the weeks are adding up.

Apple Health sync
Optionally save each finished walk to Health as a workout. The app only writes; it never reads anything back.
Accessible

Private by design
Interval Walk has no account to create, no ads, no analytics, and no server. It collects nothing. Your settings and your walk history live on your phone and stay there. If you turn on Apple Health, the app only writes your finished walks to Health. It never reads anything back.

What is interval walking?
Interval walking training alternates a few minutes of brisk, purposeful walking with a few minutes of easy recovery, repeated for a set number of rounds. It is low-cost and low-impact, and it asks for nothing but a pair of shoes and somewhere to walk.
Interval Walk is a fitness and coaching tool, not a medical device, and it does not give medical advice. Check with your doctor before starting a new exercise routine. See the medical disclaimer.
